The Arthur R. Gould School is located in the Long Creek Youth Development Center, at the site of the former the Maine Youth Center in South Portland, Maine. The school is approved by the Maine Department of Education and has the responsibility to educate juveniles adjudicated by Maine state courts.
Mission Statement: To promote public safety by ensuring that juvenile offenders are provided with education, treatment, and other services that teach skills and competencies, strengthen pro-social behaviors, and require accountability to victims and communities.
